Students learn the principles, procedures and the media of drawing and painting and improve their knowledge in the fields of illustration and 3D modelling. Students understand the basic rules of formative qualities in the visual arts. They learn to realistically represent (draw and paint) three-dimensional objects on a two-dimensional surface. They become familiar with drawing and painting media (pencil, ink, charcoal, watercolor, gouache, oil), as well as with selected poetics from the history of art and contemporary art.<\/p>\n

Colour as an element of composition. The light intensity of the colour. Complementarity. Colour grading. Tonal interpretation. Presentation of textures and materials.<\/p>\n
Through practical classes (still life studies, figure studies, landscape studies) students learn the principles, processes and media of drawing and painting.
