Basic understanding of rasterisation, modelling and rendering techniques in 2D and 3D computer
\ngraphics using OpenGL. At the end of the course students will understand the techniques of
\nrasterisation, modelling and rendering in computer graphics and will be able to model basic graphic
\nobjects and apply basic rendering algorithms using OpenGL.<\/p>\n
Overview of graphic systems. Primitive graphic objects and their rasterization. Geometric
\ntransformations. 2D viewing (2D viewing pipeline). 3D viewing (3D viewing pipeline). Representation of
\nobjects in 3D. Basic lighting models and basic algorithms for surface rendering. Representation of
\nobjects in 3D using Constructive Solid Geometry. Advanced lighting models (Phong). Advanced surface
\nrendering algorithms, Ray tracing.<\/p>\n
