The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic concepts of computing and
\ninformatics from a user\u2019s aspect, which includes introduction to the basics of human-computer
\ncommunication and the use of basic computer applications. Students get acquainted with the concept,
\nmeaning and application of information technology in modern society and the relationship of
\ninformation technology with other disciplines of computer science.<\/p>\n
Upon completion of the course, students have a considerable knowledge of basic
\nconcepts and information technology in general and they will be able to apply basic
\nknowledge of IT in practice and will be prepared for easier understanding of other courses and subjects
\nin the study program. Through independent work during practical classes, students will be focused on
\ngaining knowledge about IT projects, principles of development and application of ready-made IT
\nsolutions in practice.<\/p>\n
