Furthermore, they are informed about the selected achievements in 3D animation. The<br \/>\ngoal is to learn about 3D modelling and to prepare for animation in three-dimensional<br \/>\nvirtual space. Students learn the principles of polygonal modelling in the function of animation. They also<br \/>\nlearn the basic functions of software tools for 3D modelling and 3D animation.<\/p>\n<h5>Lectures<\/h5>\n<p>Principles of modelling. Polygonal modelling. Creating 3D polygons. Creating and drawing shapes (3D<br \/>\nSpline Models). 3D Modifier. HardSurface modelling. Organic modelling. UV maps.<\/p>\n<h5>Practical classes<\/h5>\n<p>Basic functions of Autodesk Maya (moving through virtual space, influencing objects, using manipulators<br \/>\nto move, rotate, zoom). Hierarchies in 3D software and animation expressions. Keyframe Animation &#8211;<br \/>\nrotations and sizes (squash and stretch). NURBS modelling \u2013 lines. NURBS modelling \u2013 shapes.<br \/>\nIntroduction to polygonal modelling. Quad modelling. Polygonal modelling of simple character. Polygonal<br \/>\nmodelling of a character by task. UV mapping. Digital sculpting. Basics of 3D materialisation. Rigging &#8211;<br \/>\nintroduction to skeletal systems. Rigging &#8211; making a simple skeletal system. Making controls.
