Academic career

  • Elected to the title – 2015, School of Computing, Computer Science, Programming Languages
  • PhD – 1992, Oregon Health and Science University, Portland, USA, Electrical and Computer Engineering
  • BSc – 1984, School of Electrical Engineering, Belgrade, Electrical and Computer Engineering

 

  • He worked at Intel Corp. as a member of the design team for the Pentium Pro microprocessor, 1992–2000.
  • He worked on dynamic circuit design for memory instruction reporting, hardware design, coding and testing as a senior research staff.
  • He was a founding member of Strategic CAD Labs (SCL), a dedicated research group for the design of the next generation of microprocessors.
  • He is the founder of Vast.com Inc.
  • In the period from 2000 to 2006 he worked as a CEO (Chief Executive Officer), and in the period from 2005 to 2006 as a CTO (Chief Technology Officer).
  • Since 2006, he has been the CTO of Wowd Inc. USA (formerly Edgios Inc.).
  • In 2008, he became the vice president of the company in charge of research work (VP Research).
  • At the beginning of 2011, a part of his company Wowd was taken over by Facebook.
  • During 2011, Google Inc. took over his three patents related to web browsers.
