Animation

Objectives

Students create animations in connection to their doctoral artistic projects. The aim is to revise and broaden the knowledge about development and contemporary tendencies in animation. They carry out comparative analysis of animated forms in film and multimedia design.

Outcomes

Students are trained to evaluate and qualitatively complete their own poetics in animation. They learn to look at animation in the wider context of digital art, i.e. multimedia design. They design and produce original works. They criticise animation as an aspect of authorial film, multimedia design and utilitarian advertising.
