Objectives and outcomes

Students acquire practical skills in using the cloud computing technology. Upon completion of the course,
students will master the use of cloud computing.

Practical classes

Basic concepts of cloud computing. Cloud computing as a collection of services. Infrastructure as a
service and software as a service. An illustrative example showing the use of available services.
Implementation of smaller web services and examples of service-oriented software architecture using
cloud computing. Implementation of virtual resources in the cloud. Experimental exercises of using tools
and platforms to automate and configure the process of creating and delivering cloud-based applications.
A case study of application migration to the cloud.
