Computer 3-D modeling

Theoretical classes: The necessity to work in one of the 3-D programs in each engineering project. Choosing the right program for 3-D visualization. 3-D as a form of presentation and as a test of your own work and possible deficiencies in the design. Preparation of material for further processing or production (3-D printers, CNC waterjet machines). Quick presentation (Sketch Up), product modeling (Rhinoceros 3DRhino) Architecture and interior (3DS MAX), video games, characters and animation (Maya 3D). Autodesk 3DS MAX, a product with the widest range of applications.
Practical classes: Exercises include practical applications of topics presented in the lectures. The exercises begin by analyzing the project task, after which comes the elaboration of the conceptual design. Freehand sketching, computer modeling (3DS MAX), mapping, or the materialization, light, proportion and camera, framing, and at the end, “rendering”. Practical work and with consultations you come to a final perspective presentation, after which comes the preparation for 3-D printers.
