Configuration and maintenance of IP networks

Objectives and outcomes

The configuration and maintenance of computer networks based on the IP protocol in LAN, MAN and WAN
environment. Upon completion of the course, students will use techniques and protocols to configure
advanced switching techniques in a LAN. They will know how to choose the optimal plan for traffic
routing and configure routing on the central and remote locations of the IP network. They will also know how
to design and select protocols and technology for the connection in a WAN network, as well as to configure
and maintain established connections.
