Objectives and outcomes

Mastering basic grammatical structures and pronunciation rules, acquiring and expanding vocabulary in the filed of computers, programming, IT. Students use both general and professional English.

Lectures

Students are taught the tenses (how to form and use them), phonetic, morphological and syntactic rules.
Moreover, they learn about the parts of speech, active and passive voice, as well as about articles. The
emphasis is put on expanding the vocabulary in the filed of computers, science and technology and IT in
general, as well as on everyday English communication skills. Apart from dealing with professional texts,
students prepare presentations in the domain of the new digital age. The following skills are developed:
reading and reading comprehension, listening, writing, while a special emphasis is put on speaking.
