Objectives and outcomes

Students use advanced sentence structures. They enrich their multimedia vocabulary and they are introduced to business English. Learning business English will give them the chance to demonstrate a wider professional vocabulary which can result in new opportunities in their careers.

Lectures

Dealing with professional (texts and vocabulary in the domain of multimedia design) and general English, students develop all language skills. They learn about gerund and infinitive, modals, conditional sentences, question tags, subjunctive and indirect speech. Giving presentations in the domain of art and multimedia makes students express their critical thinking and broaden and improve the knowledge they have acquired. During this course students also deal with business English, developing interview skills, writing clear emails and increasing awareness of business topics and issues.
