Objectives and outcomes
Students use advanced sentence structures. They enrich their IT vocabulary and they are introduced to business English. Learning business English will give them the chance to demonstrate a wider professional vocabulary which can result in new opportunities in their careers.
Lectures
Dealing with professional (texts in the domain of IT) and general English, students develop all language
skills. They learn about gerund and infinitive, conditional sentences, question tags and indirect speech.
Giving presentations makes students express their critical thinking, broaden and improve the
knowledge they have acquired. Moreover, during this course students deal with business English. They develop
interview skills, write clear emails and increase awareness of business topics and issues.
