Course content

Lectures

Students learn about the theory of design through three thematic units: 1) the criticism of modernist design projects, especially design in SFRY; 2) the criticism of design as an artificial (industrial) means of mediation between sign production and consumption; 3) the critique of postmodernist design projects, especially in the context of political and economic transition.

Research work

Through research work, students analyse the references relevant to the graphic design of the dissertation, i.e., they create the design of the printed form of their own final papers.
