Image and Sound Synchronisation  

Objectives

Getting to know different types of multimedia projects where image and sound synchronisation is the key. Students learn about image and sound synchronisation.

Outcomes

Upon completion of the learning process, after completing the pre-examination obligations and passing the exam, students are expected to master various manipulative techniques related to the mutual adjustment of image and sound, in order to create a specific media unit.

Course content

Lectures

Image and sound analysis. Different types of media customisation. Synchronous and asynchronous techniques. Manipulation of the time distance between image and sound. Individual techniques of image and sound for the purpose of assembling the entire project into a unique multimedia presentation.

Research work

Part of the course is dedicated to independent research work, which, in addition to the study of literature, also includes work in Pro Tools and Final Cut Pro X software.
