Managing and Maintaining a Windows Server environment

Objectives and Outcomes

The aim of the course is to provide students with a basic knowledge of administration of Windows
network services. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to perform network
configuration of IPv4 and IPv6 protocols, install a Windows server and perform post-installation
configuration of servers with and without a graphical interface. Furthermore, students will be able to
implement a local data warehouse, NTFS credentials and a File service. They will also be able to perform
the installation and configuration of DHCP, DNS and VPN services, as well as to perform the process of
monitoring the performance of hardware and software.
