Objectives and outcomes

Students are familiar with various tools and procedures of 3D modelling, UV network development, texturing, materialisation, virtual lighting and rendering. Students get acquainted with the phenomenon of sculpture. They are introduced to spatial installations. They continue to improve in the domain of 3D modelling. Students are familiar with the process of creating environments for the needs of 3D animation.

Lectures

Students are familiar with different concepts and procedures of 3D modelling. They understand the 3D geometry and topology, texturing and materialisation procedures, procedures for applying 3D lighting and rendering.

Practical classes

Using tools and procedures required for successful generation, texturing, lighting and rendering of 3D geometry. Students use Autodesk Maya and Adobe Substance 3D Painter programs.
