Post-Production

Objectives and outcomes

Students master the process of post-production, i.e. tools for working in the
field of post-production. Students get to know and understand the whole process of post-production, i.e.
the final phase of film and TV creation. They get acquainted with professional programs for editing audio
and video materials, necessary for work in modern post-production (the emphasis is on programs for
editing video materials).

Lectures

Aesthetic aspect of post-production.  Film and TV editing.
Colour correction. Types of narration. Axis of action. Phi phenomenon. Zooming in and out. Sound effects.
Rhythm and tempo. Visual effects. Graphic design. Exporting and formats.

Practical classes

Through thematic exercises that include work on the post-production of film and audiovisual materials,
students are trained to post-produce images and sound in software packages: DaVinci Resolve, Adobe
Premiere, Final Cut, Avid Media Composer, Adobe After Effects, Pro Tools and Nuendo. Students gain
the knowledge and experience necessary to work in a film or audiovisual post-production.
