Objectives and outcomes

The objective is to familiarise students with the language and style of oral and written business communication. They connect orthography with business communication and language based on selected examples from everyday communication. By improving their language, students are prepared to use the norms of the Serbian language and culture in their future jobs. Acquired knowledge should become part of a student’s personal communication skills and functionally applied to personal, business and social plans. 

Practical classes

Language and communication: language, speech, verbal and non-verbal communication. Language and
styles in oral and written business communication. Written communication: conditions for good literacy,
business communication (writing business letters, covering letters and CVs). Oral communication:
characteristics of cultivated speech, oral presentations. Connecting orthography with the forms of
business communication.
