School of Computing forms a collaboration agreement with Alpha Vantage

Alpha Vantage and School of Computing have agreed to mutual collaboration.
This collaboration will primarily take form in the School of Computing being granted access to the Alpha Vantage platform for stock market data.

Access to this data will prove invaluable to both the faculty staff and the students, for both lectures and research.

Alpha Vantage makes it their policy to provide educational data acess for institutions to better facilitate financial education in higher education.

Students in the fourth year of studies at the subject „Software Engineering“ will have an opportunity to use this API, in order to access stock market data in their projects, further improving their knowledge on how real markets work.

School of Computing considers this form of collaboration highly important because it provides students with access to real-world data, and can further be utilised for sophisticated market research, both academic and for student projects.
