dr Goran M. Rakočević

Goran Rakočević je rođen 30.05.1983. u Beogradu, gde je završio osnovnu školu i Četvrtu gimnaziju. Diplomirao je na Elektrotehničkom fakultetu Univerziteta  u Beogradu, odsek za računarsku tehniku i infromatiku 2007. godine. Na istom fakultetu je i doktorirao 2015. godine, sa disertacijom ”Mašinsko učenje u bežičnim senzorskim mrežama”. U toku doktorskih studija bio je saradnik na više međunarodnih projekata u sklopu Sedmog okvirnog programa Evropske Unije: FP7-ProSense, FP7-ArtReat, FP7-Balcon. Od 2011. do 2013. godine radio je kao istraživač saradnik na Matematičkom institutu Srpske akademije nauka i umetnosti, u okviru projekta ”III 44006: Razvoj novih informaciono-komunikacionih tehnologija, korišćenjem naprednih matematičkih metoda, sa primenama u medicini, telekomunikacijama, energetici, zaštiti nacionalne baštine i obrazovanju.” Od 2013. godine je radio u firmi Seven Bridges Genomics Inc., prvo kao bioinformatičar (do 2016. godine), a potom kao inženjer u okviru odeljenja za razvoj i istraživanja. Od 2017. rukovodi istraživanjima u oblasti komputacione imunologije i primenom mašinskog učenja u medicinskoj hemiji u okviru kompanije Totient. Od 2019. godine radi u zvanju docenta na Računarskom fakultetu.
